DSI’s Global Education and Curriculum Committee, along with GTIA and Pax8 Academy, are working together to oversee the strategy for delivering vendor-neutral international education programs focused on the SMB1001 cybersecurity standard. This standard is designed to enhance cybersecurity resilience for small and medium businesses while offering tailored training for technical support specialists.
The SMB1001 standard by DSI provides a practical and relevant framework for small and medium businesses to comply with various legislative and cyber governance frameworks cost-effectively. This educational partnership will refine courseware, accreditations, and micro-credentials to help training institutions globally leverage the SMB1001 standard to upskill managed service providers and small and medium businesses at scale.
Pax8 Academy has recently introduced the first live instruction training course on Implementing SMB1001 Security Standard for Pax8 Partners. Maria Armstrong, the Manager of Pax8 Academy, emphasizes the importance of providing dynamic and practical education to combat the growing complexity of cybersecurity threats. She underscores the commitment to equip managed service providers with the necessary tools and resources to enhance resilience and protect their clients.
