All active faculty, staff, and students employed as of August 1 are mandated to complete the training by September 12. Accessible through b.gatech.edu/genius from August 25, the training comprises two parts: the University System of Georgia Ethics Refresher, Ethics in Action at Georgia Tech, Controlled Unclassified Information Overview, and Common Threats. It is estimated to take about 90 minutes to complete and can be done on a desktop or laptop, with no requirement to finish in one sitting.
Non-compliance with the training deadline may lead to disciplinary actions by the Institute.
